Summer holidays

Oookay,

So now that uni is over for the year (cannot tell you how amazing it feels to have four months to be a bum) I have waaay more time for art and stuff. It's funny how inspiration hits you when you have no time, yet the moment you have all the time in the world you run out of inspiration. Most of the art I'm doing at the moment is still for Christmas presents so those won't get submitted for a while, but I'm going to try get back into doing art that's more than just doodling. Watercolours are looking pretty snazzy at the moment.

I thought about getting back into digital art again but it's kind of lost its charm. You work for hours on something but don't have anything physical to show for it.

So yes, short message. That is all.

Salutations. My name is Nicole. Five shots of absinthe will kill me. I'm only five centimetres shorter than Richard Hammond and I live on an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean which, contrary to popular belief, is pretty boring. I've been around for two decades and was born on the two-hundred-and-fifteenth day of the year (two-hundred-and-sixteenth on Leap Years) in the year that they finally tore down that blasted Berlin Wall. I'm currently studying English Literature and Classical Studies in the capital and just have one more year of it to go. After that I plan on becoming an English teacher to scare future generations away from Shakespeare.

I love to make a big mess and enjoy painting, drawing, papier mache, photography, writing and pretty much like anything that allows me to be creative - though when it comes to cooking I have my suspicions that my kitchen is trying to kill me. I love socks, cactuses, Tim Burton movies, outer space, dinosaurs, big cats, Doctor Who, tin signs, rubber ducks, feather boas, fairy tales, retro gaming, clocks, the supernatural, driving, starting projects and never finishing them, Rammstein, mythology, chocolate, mints, jewellery and bittersweet endings.
